1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TranscribeVideo.ai ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TranscribeVideo.ai provides AI-powered video transcription and summarization for publicly accessible videos on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transcribe private or copyrighted content without authorization
- Circumvent platform terms of service of third-party sites
- Scrape, crawl, or automate requests in a way that burdens our infrastructure
- Use the output to harass, defame, or harm others
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding transcripts generated from third-party videos) remain the property of TranscribeVideo.ai. Transcripts are derived from user-supplied URLs; you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use them.
6. Paid Plans & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed weekly or monthly via Stripe. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee on monthly plans (weekly plans are not eligible — cancel before renewal instead). You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal where it applies to you.
7. Rate Limits & Fair Use
Free use is limited to 1 full transcription per 30-day period, up to 2 videos per request, with a 10-minute maximum length per video; creating a free account adds 3 further transcriptions on a one-time basis. Once that allowance is used, further free requests still succeed but return only the first 5 seconds of the transcript, limited to 5 such preview requests per 30-day period. Weekly accounts are limited to 100 transcriptions per 7-day period, with no more than 30 of those in any single day. Pro accounts are limited to 250 transcriptions per 30-day period, with no more than 100 of those in any single day. Business accounts are limited to 600 transcriptions per 30-day period, with no more than 400 of those in any single day. Paid plans accept up to 10 videos per request with no length limit. Repeat requests for a video we have already transcribed are served from our cache at no charge and do not count against any limit. We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain service quality.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee transcript accuracy, uptime, or availability of third-party video content. AI-generated summaries may contain errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranscribeVideo.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
